This November: Now Is the Time to See What Is Here

Happy Thursday!

As November begins, the season invites us to notice what truly sustains us. Abundance lives inside ordinary moments — a shared smile, the warmth of sunlight, the stillness before day begins. When we pause to notice, the urge to chase or compare eases. What remains is a fullness that grows through presence, not possession.

Abundance asks for awareness more than effort. It invites us to pause and recognize what has already arrived, or what continues to be there for us when life does not unfold the way we expected. Each time we stop to appreciate what is here, the noise of not enough fades. In its place comes calm recognition — the sense that life is already offering what we need to take the next step.

Enoughness is in the Details

Abundance begins with how we see. It lives in breath, in laughter, in light that filters through the day. Each pause to notice expands awareness, and gratitude follows.

In October, we practiced letting go through Detachment. Now Abundance fills that open space — not through striving, through appreciation. It moves with your attention — present when noticed, distant when overlooked.

Enoughness becomes clear when we see that life has already given us much. As we shift from grasping to gratitude, the heart becomes calmer. Perspectives broaden. The mind releases its constant need to measure. In that pause, abundance shows itself — simple, genuine, already here.

Seeing What Remains

There are times in life when circumstances change, and you find yourself looking at what is still present rather than what is no longer there. In those moments, you begin to recognize forms of abundance that are easy to overlook. The people who reach out because they care. The small gestures that make your day easier. The inner strength that rises when you need it most.

These moments may appear small, yet their impact runs deep. They show a kind of richness that does not depend on having more. It lives in connection, kindness, moments of understanding, and the parts of your life that continue to support you.

When you notice these moments, you start to see that what remains can hold more value than what has changed.

A Practice for Abundance

Begin a short Presence Check.

  • Sit quietly for a few breaths.
  • Name three parts of your life that already feel full—friendship, health, faith.
  • Write one or two lines of thanks for each.

Notice how your body responds. Does your face relax and broaden with a smile? Is your breath becoming slower and deeper? If yes, this is your awareness widening.

Let this simple act remind you that richness grows through attention.

Personal Reflection

Here is your opportunity to further deepen this conversation through prompts inspired by my book Take a Shot at Happiness. These reflections help you embody the lesson rather than simply think about it.
